Rough last 2 rounds by the girls. Should have won this tourney.... but it will not hurt our ranking imo

WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Auburn freshman Victoria Trapani tallied her first career top-five finish in the Landfall Tradition Sunday, finishing in a tie for second with a tournament-total 72-73-76--221, leading the No. 3/5 Tigers to a runner-up finish in the tournament. As a team, Auburn carded a 297-312-309--918 to take second, earning the team's fourth top-five finish of the fall season.

Hosted by the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, the Landfall Tradition was a 54-hole stroke play tournament played at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. The par-72 course played at 6,208 yards for the tournament. Six of the 18 teams in the tournament field are ranked in the top 25.

Trapani carded a final-round 76 to hold on to a tie for second at the Landfall Tradition, her first career top-five finish and best finish since tying for sixth at the season-opening "Mo" Morial.
