I hope we're ready for Vandy. The entire SEC season is tough; open at Ole Miss, LSU here and then on road to Bama. That`s a tough start. And doesn`t get any easier. Hope springs eternal every spring! I think it was already planned. Could be wrong but pretty sure talks had begun or had been concluded. Someone can check me on that though. We play 8 teams ranked in the preseason Baseball America poll, 7 of them in the top 11, 5 of them on the road: ESPN/USA Today NCBWA CBN at #5 Arizona #20 #18 #20 at #22 Ole Miss NR NR NR #8 LSU #14 #12 #12 at #10 Vandy #12 #11 #23 #3 S. Carolina #2 #2 #2 at #11 Georgia #25 #21 #18 at #4 Arkansas #8 #6 #8 #1 Florida (season finale) #1 #1 #1 Wow! Better hope that pitching is improved this year. In most years auburn gets 2 weekends to get "our feet wet" with weaker competition. Not this year, 2 strong teams the first week of the season, hopefully we're ready to play.
