"The guys are doing a good job ... You can see the progress being made," Martinez said. "We're in the developmental stage of the process ... and trying to figure out the right spot for guys." ***Martinez said Jermaine Whitehead is a smart player "We feel very good about his progress," he said. "To be able to play nickel and safety in our system is pretty good, especially early on." ***Martinez said Chris Davis has a lot of ability and is a physical player. He said he has all the atributes you look for in a corner. ***Martinez said his safeties are responsible for making calls. ***Martinez said Robenson Therezie is becoming more comfortable with every practice. "He had an unbelievable interception in a red zone period we had today," Martinez said. ***Bell said he's taking his rehab one day at a time. He said he wants to be better than he was before he injury and has no doubts he'll be ready to go in the fall. "I think I'm moving at a good pace and I should be out there real soon," Bell said. ***Bell said he likes Coach Martinez. "He shoots you straight. He doesn't beat around the bush," Bell said. "I like him a lot. He relates to us." ***Bell said he tells his teammates to just play fast and not over-think on the field. "We'll get it cleaned up by fall," he said. ***Bell said Jermaine Whitehead and Robenson Therezie have both come a long way since last year. Bell on Therezie's interception... "One hand --- his vertical is sick," Bell said. ***Frost said the defense is slowing down for him a lot. He said he was hesitant at first as he learned the defense. "It's all coming together, finally," Frost said. ***Frost said it's helped him a lot working with the 1st team and playing alongside Jake Holland and Daren Bates. He said: “Kiehl better watch out for his spot.†By telling, are you referring to the fact that kiehl pretty much has the starting job locked up in the eyes of the players? Or telling in that you think trovon reed might be getting a look at QB? Without context of the quote i'm much more inclined to feel the first way rather than the latter.
