He didn't have the right personnel, and from everything I have heard, he had a meddlesome HC. Well, the hire wasn't Chizik's first choice I'm sure but I think it did cost him his job, why would you run a pro style offense with players specifically recruited to fit Coach Malzhan's no huddle type offense? Lefty seems to be a better fit for VT although i think Logan would be better served in the shot gun. He's a big Qb that has some decent mobility but is more of a bruiser and short yardage running Qb more than anything. Logan didn't have a good spring game and the VT fans are a little worried. Don't blame them b/c much like KF, Logan worked out of the shotgun before Lefty came to town. He just doesn't seem comfortable or excited with the new offense and Lefty. I saw an interview he did a few weeks ago talking about the offense and he seemed kind of nonchalant / blah like. Logan's a senior too so the change can't be easy for him. I'm sorry, but I have never seen so many Center -> QB exchange issues and false starts in my life. Look back to 2010 florida, look back to last year.
