First phone call. Apparently it didn't go over too well. The kid is from Southern California, so USC would have been thought to be the logical front runner for most of his recruitment, but they weren't. The prevailing thought is that he didn't much care for Kiffin. So when Bama hired Kiffin, that was basically all she wrote. He was also apparently very close to Nussmeier, so his leaving hurt a good bit as well. Michigan and USC are thought to be the favorites at this time.

You guys got it all wrong. Saban pulled the offer because they got Coker (even though Coker has two years left and Town is a HS Junior) besides, they didn't want him anyway, he's only the #1 rated QB in 2015. Just wait the bammers will set us all straight.

There was nothing about LK's offense the last couple years to cause any top QB to head in his direction. NS is a pretty smart guy so there must be some reason in his mind that LK is worth 3/4 of a million or whatever as his OC...guess we will just have to wait and see what it is.
