chinook 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Share Posted November 30, 2004 i live in mcminnville, oregon which is a town of 30k. most people i have encountered with in oregon don't know of auburn, most think of auburn, wa or auburn, ca. it is very very rare a hear a war eagle outside of my home. anyway, i sold my wife's car last evening to person (whom i never met) until last evening that graduated from auburn in the late 60's and has lived in mcminnville for 20 years or more. we got talking after test driving the car and he said he was born and raised in alabama and i said no kidding, i grew up in ga and graduated from auburn. the next words out of his mouth were war eagle! small world isn't it?
