CSG said in his post game that they needed more time to "wash" the first game. It will take mentally tough players to respond in that situation. We completely mailed in the second game outside a few positives here and there. The starting pitching did well for the first 5(I think). After that, it was implosions all around. There are baseball stuff CSG is working on but the mentality was my biggest beef last year. I based that thought on the inability to improve fielding during the season - which I would think is the one thing that can improve if proper focus is put on it. CSG has pounded these guys early this year and he can still point to mental toughness from this weekend as something we need to keep focus on, even though we won the series - that could be a win-win for the season long term.
