Eagle flies at English soccer match

Crystal Palace football club in London has an eagle named Kayla. The eagle flies before matches. I looked for more reports but could only find the video. Possibly someone saw the Auburn tradition and took it?

Kinda cool. I love that they have her flying back and forth across the field pitch several times -- makes it last much longer. I would love to see Spirit or Nova flying back and forth and perching atop the goalposts as part of their pregame flight.

The bald eagle is a beautiful and majestic bird. I saw pictures of the eagle perched on the goal used as a symbol of US dominance during the women's World Cup. I didn't realize they came from the pregame ritual for a British soccer club. Ironic.

Yep. Mentioned this in the EPL thread (non-AU Sports board). Their manager also refers to 'the process' (pronounced like all-pro, with a long o) when asked about winning. Seems like they've been watching the whole state of Alabama.
