If Watson by chance gets injured in the game and cannot finish it, how much would this effect the game?  My thinking is that if Watson goes down from a legal hit, (I do not want the young man injured but am looking at what could happen), I would guess that without Deshawn, Clemson would suddenly become an average team that could lose 4-5 games this season. If this happened to us, I would think that we could plug in JJ or JFIII and keep on ticking and would not have the drop off that Clemson would.

I do not dislike Clemson, but just do not like Dablow. He behaves like a typical turd and not a professional whatsoever. We pull a beat-down, Dabbo will cry his eyes out in the middle of JHS and will have to be escorted off of the field by his State Trooper crew from South Carolina.

Yessir, I was there pretty much from the beginning. Will Woods and I became friends, and I started writing articles to "help him get going". Who knew he'd eventually be a Vice President of Rivals, and one of the icons of the whole "internet sports" biz?

That's who I thought you were.  I'm CleCoTiger these days but you might recognize the Ox from days gone by.

I'll admit to being lax in following this past offseason. Can someone tell me what Dabo has been saying that leads to the conclusion that he has no respect for Auburn?

TIFWIW but I believe someone earlier mentioned Dabba-Doo was trash talking during his alumni speeches, etc. No big deal really, but since he's a bammer, that's enough motivation anyway.

Thanks, coach! Enjoyed the read. In terms of Sean White, I just think we haven't seen the real Sean White yet. While he might not be elite talent, I think he has intelligence and courage, which goes a long way. I am really looking forward to seeing how disciplined the defense is under Kevin Steele. The leadership we have on that side of the ball should help, too. Looking forward to hearing your post-game thoughts. WAR EAGLE!!!! BEAT clemson!!!! :cheer:

I believe the term you're looking for is moxie, and I believe that's Sean's greatest strength. He's one of those players who seems to have a penchant for proving his doubters wrong, and I'd LOVE to see him do that on the field this year!

Every coach "trash talks" to the alumni.

I did not realize Dabo has strung together that many 10-win seasons in a row ... ACC but still ... not too shabby.

i don't like him but Dabo has proven to be a damn good HC.  When Saban retires, I bet bammer goes after him.

Great analysis, even after the fact.   Thanks for contributing!

I also enjoyed this observation:

"Swinney has been the head coach at Clemson seven full years, plus one partial season. Gus Malzahn has been the head man at Auburn 3 full years, and is heading into his fourth. In Swinney’s first three full seasons, he compiled a record of 25-16. Clemson fans were calling for his firing. Malzahn’s first three years have yielded a record of 27-13. Some Auburn fans are calling for his firing, although most are waiting to see what 2016 brings. I can’t see the future, but I’d feel safe betting that Gus Malzahn will be a better coach in his 8th year at Auburn than he was in his third, just as Dabo Swinney is a better coach now than he was after three years as a head coach."
