For those who appreciate good defensive play, I'd add the goal line stand against uat when they had the ball 1st & goal at the AU 5 and couldn't make 1 yd. The 2nd goal line where uat had the ball 1st & goal at the 6 and could only make 1 yd before kicking a FG was pretty good too. Also, #8: wasn't it Marcus Randall (and not JM) that got leveled by the Eddins Express?
BustemBigBlue 178
#8 – LSU – Eddins destroys Jamarcus Russell Not 100% sure but I think it was Marcus Randall.

View the pic here: http://auburntigers.com/photoalbums/fb091804/index.htm Don't view the CT drop! `What if' on that one.... My top play had to be the double reverse fleaflicker JC to Aromo! I f Caddy would've squeezed into the endzone after his 48 scamper against Ole miss I would put it at # 2 (dumpoff pass'
AuNuma1 1
Eddins ripping the cajun a new one was definitely number 2 behind Taylor's TD.
AuNuma1 1
And no one mentioned Carnell's TD PASS? That was pretty cool...

Proud Tiger 4,261
Interesting that three of the top 10 are in the LSU game. Big plays win big games
DCTiger 0
Ahhh. The Bama goal line stands. What sweet memories. And Caddy's 48 yard run at Ole Miss was incredible. That one was considered, but since he didnt make it in the endzone, didnt make the cut. You could probably add 15 more plays. The longest TD pass in history ... to Silas Daniel's. Caddy fumbling in the endzone and Bennett recovering to start the SEC Championship game. Or take your pick of Courtney Taylor TDs. Seems like there was an exciting one in about every game. What game was it that Caddy juked that poor kid on the punt return? He is still looking for his jockstrap.
bammanmr 0
My 2 additions to the list: 1. Taylor taking the ball away from the utee defender on our opening drive in knocksveele. Had he not done that, they would have started the game with a BIG, BIG play. 2. Campbell's TD pass to RB against ugaly. Thomas Davis had great coverage on that play, and Campbell dropped a perfect pass in there for the score. IMO, one of the best executed plays of the season. The others listed were all deserving of note as well.

WarTim 3,457
Took a lot for you to admit that raven. My hat is off to you. My favorite "play" would be any one of the four picks JR got vs UT. THAT doesn't happen every day, or every year, or every decade, or..well, you get the picture.
texaubie 0
The biggest play wasn't on the field:#1 Hiring Al Borges 166496[/snapback] What did you say about that hire before the season started?
AUesquire 1
Downing the ball as the clock ran out in Tuscaloosa. ALWAYS the best play of the year!!

aufan175 13
Does anyone remember in the LSU game when Carnell took the ball away from I think Sklyer Green.. That was a huge play if he didn't take the ball out of that guy's hands that could have been a touchdown for LSU.
KTtigers 0
Was Mix's catch against where he broke a hundred tackles considered?
AURainman 6
Campbell to Aromashodu down the left side of the field to open the 3rd QTR against Bama. It didn't go for a touchdown, but it said, "HEY BAMA!!! EAT IT!!"

CT fought his way up field, turning an INT (poss. return for TD) into a very positive gain that, IMO, changed the complextion of that game. Gotta love CT's grit and determination...
