Popular Post StatTiger 3,188
Here is a statistical snapshot of the improvement Hugh Freeze made during year #1 at Arkansas State, Ole Miss and Liberty. It is a snapshot of the team's national rankings the year before Freeze arrived and the impact he and his staff made during his first season on the job. Rankings shaded in green noted a top-25 finish. The difference column shaded in green, notes an improvement of at least 40 spots. The average improvement at Arkansas State was 26.4. Freeze and Ole Miss had an improvement of 32.5 and Liberty was an improvement by an average of 15.9. Of the 69 categories combined, his teams improved 77 percent of the categories. There is a very high probability, Auburn will show a major improvement in 2023 but the key will be sustaining that level of success. 1 17
AUinMS9528 1,086
Holy Cow! The ASU defensive improvement is WILD!!!! OM offense is impressive too! I’d love to see significant improvement on both sides of the ball!!! Another quick question: What year did Liberty transition from FCS to FBS? I’m thinking this is a factor that very few have considered when analyzing CHF’s job there. edit: 2018 was their first year in FBS. So, as I suspected, having the level of success they had under CHF that soon after moving up to FBS makes that success even more impressive IMHO!
