Republican Lisa Murkowski / Ranked Choice Voting / Breaking Party Control

For all those who are pissed off by the two party stranglehold on our electoral system and the associated primary system that produces such crappy candidates we are ultimately forced to choose between.

Also, for all those who yearn to see a sensible Republican - one you could actually vote for - I submit Alaska's Lisa Murkowski, here interviewed on PBS's "Firing Line".

Ranked choice voting may not be any more feasible that seeing a third party rise to subsume either existing party - is our system simply too disfunctional to even allow for such a thing?  But it seems to me that proportional voting is one of the few things with the potential to save our democracy.  (That, along with reducing the power of money in our elections.)
