No mention of Auburn's 83-53 whuppin' of Clemson? Maybe Coach Harris has finally got some pieces in place. AU forced an unreal number of turnovers and ran Clem out of the gym with fast break points. It's not like Clemson is bad, their record coming in was 5-3 and they eliminated AU from the NIT last year. This team is worth watching. Sadly, their TV appearances at this point are limited. Maybe more will be forthcoming if the Lady Tigers keep this up.

I watched a little of this game. AU has some nice pieces and play a smothering defense. However, they do not have the big women to compete at the top. Their inside game is hard to watch. But I think a lot of teams have that issue.

They have some really fast guards that shoot well, but they are vulnerable under the basket. Clemson had a similar makeup.

I then watched LSU. Totally different make up under the basket. And the guards are big and fast. Same with USCe.

I must say this team looks better than I have seen in the past. A huge step forward. But like most of us not named USCe, we need those big quick people under the goal.

I’ve been able to watch pretty much every women’s game on the ESPN app with a Hulu Live subscription. I watched the Clemson thrashing. Utterly head-scratching. Clemson was not a severely overmatched team. Auburn just played that well. Which is anomalous. AU went on the road and beat Rutgers a week or two ago, then played poorly in losses against Cal and an away game at UCF, which is really no better roster-wise than AU. Gonna be a roller coaster year, but at least CJH has a team she can win some games with. Scott-Grayson has the potential to really develop into a elite women’s player.

Hoping to see continued improvement from the AU women this year! I have been pleased with Coach Harris so far, she inherited a total train wreck from Flo.

Saw where Clemson ladies beat Duke ladies by 10 last night. Duke women may not be strong, but it shows that Clemson isn’t terrible. Makes the 30 point evisceration even more legit.
