If you were in the band and you have a problem about it -- fine complain about it because you did the work to earn it I think. If you didn't then you need to grow up. Complain to Dr. Good all you want, but when it comes to boo'ing at the kids -- whether you are boo'ing the song or not -- you've crossed a line imo. Mainly because it copies the tradition of USC (The Gamecocks) who were doing this in the 1990s. I wouldn't mind another school's alma matter, just like the USMC band might play the national anthem of another country to honor a visiting leader of that country. I enjoy some humorus shots fired our way, as long as they are funny and not bitter. I don't think the band is intending to mock anyone, they just want to show some respect. Maybe not the way you or I would. I would never ask you to say "War Eagle," and I expect you would never ask me to say Roll T... Roll T... Roll T... Well you get my point. I thought that was good of them to do...I don't see the need to play the entire song, though. As to the snarky nature of this thread, well, I'll chime in with... But I guess that is too hard for you to understand!! I think it is a classy thing to do, but not particularly want to hear our band play the bammers song for obvious reasons of it being our arch rival!! Nothing more!! People were just having some fun about what song they think of when they think of Alabama and saying the band should play it. I think complaining on your rivals boards about them making fun of your team is one of the stupidest things you can do. 1)You should expect it and be able to handle it, 2) ATM someone on one of your team boards is doing the same thing. Wanna talk about class, how about coming onto a Auburn board with the name of AUwho........ and then you complain about class? What a joke.
