StatTiger 3,188
Since our GT game, our offense has really started to click as well as our defense. Over the last 5 games, our offense has taken 331 snaps. Of those 331 snaps, 242 were involved in a scoring drive. 73.1% of our snaps are resulting in pts on the board. On the other side of the ball, our defense has allowed 280 snaps of which 46 have resulted in pts ( 16.4% ). I realize we have not played any of our major opponents but compare the same numbers to last year's team against La.Monroe, MSU, Citadel, La.Tech, Arkansas and Kentucky. Our offense took 405 snaps in those 6 games with 227 resulting towards a scoring drive ( 56.0% ). The defense defended 349 snaps, allowing 58 towards scoring drives ( 16.6% ). The 2005 team has actually been more efficient and the 2005 defense is playing at the same level.
