40% of Bowl Teams Miss Academic Standards

Very interesting. Down at the very bottom, there is something that really surprised me. All 5 of the PAC 10 teams failed to meet the standards.

Does anyone know what Auburn's APR is, or where it can be found? What about Alabama?

Ok I'm not sure if i read this chart right...but if i did we have a 926 in football and rank around 80th to 90th percentile..which is saying we're in the top 10% of football programs in the nation??

Auburn scored 963 for football ranking in the 80-90 percentile.

Alabama scored 886 for football ranking in the 10-20 percentile.

Look at the "Institution Specific Rate" to get these numbers. The 926 you saw is the average of all Division 1 Football programs. Hope that helps!

So when do schools actually start losing scholarships? This sounds like another one of those "why I oughta..." campaigns.

These silly little scores are meaningless unless the NCAA starts to punish the programs that aren't complying.

Those are fantastic numbers...I like how we're top 10% in the nation in both Football on the field and in the class room.. WDE

Too bad it doesn't go into effect like now. Auburn has high numbers with some classy kids Tuberville brought in. With Ben and the Williams' leaving, I hope there continues to be players who graduate before their senior season, or at least graduate in general.
