Maybe old news here but Chris Slaughter re-commited to AU yesterday for the 07 class.

Too bad he didn't make it this year. But then again, we seem to be doing pretty good at WR.

That's great news. Everything I read or heard about Slaughter was that he would have been an immediate impact player. The coaching staff has always been good about staying with these type kids throughout the year. If they make a commitment to a player, they seem to always honor it.

Actually slaughter probably wouldn't have been a true freshman impact players. Too light, only 170 pounds, so hargrave for a year isn't that bad, although the better scenario would be on AU campus for a redshirt year & yoxercise.
