Don't Blame Us

It seems as if the Bush administration wants to shift the blame to civilians not doing their part. Now, I do want to puke on "W". That piece of $#@!. What happened to the billions of dollars paid to the present contractors who have profited handsomely from our children's future incomes? These guys have got to go, yesterday.

The complaints reflect fresh tensions between the Pentagon and the State Department over personnel demands that have fallen most heavily on the military. But they also draw on a deeper reservoir of concerns among officers who have warned that a military buildup alone cannot solve Iraq’s problems, and who now fear that the military will bear a disproportionate burden if Mr. Bush’s strategy falls short

The mounting tensions between the Pentagon and other departments are in some ways the mirror image of those that roiled the government before the 2003 invasion. Then, State Department officials grumbled that the Pentagon was usurping its role in planning the postwar civilian occupation; today, the military is eager to see others step in.

State Department officials say they are using both incentives and subtler pressures to induce employees to go to Iraq.

But from the standpoint of personal security, taking those jobs — many of them, by definition, outside the relative safety of the Green Zone — is widely seen as an unattractive career option.

General Pace argued that the United States government needed “to be able to get folks over to be able to help with judiciary systems, be able to help with engineering, be able to help with electricity and the like before a country devolves into a state where the terrorists can find a home.”

I tell you what, get rid of Bush and Cheney, my own brigade for protection, never pay income taxes or any taxes ever again, and $500,000 per year with bonuses and I'll think about it. :roflol: In other words, they are #@*&ed. Good, they deserve it, the big dummies.

Now, finally...

A state senator from Brooklyn said on Tuesday he plans to introduce legislation that would ban people from using an MP3 player, cell phone, Blackberry or any other electronic device while crossing the street in either New York City or Buffalo.

NewsChannel 4 reported that Sen. Carl Kruger is proposing the ban in response to two recent pedestrian deaths in his district, including a 23-year-old man who was struck and killed last month while listening to his iPod on Avenue T and East 71st Street In Bergen Beach.

"While people are tuning into their iPods and cell phones, they're tuning out the world around them," Kruger said. The proposed law would make talking on cell phones while crossing the street a comparable offense to jaywalking.

Carl Kruger is a Democrat as anyone can see by looking at his entry in the New York State Senate Democrats web site.

Everyopne knows democracies end up in dictatorships. Yea, you guys will probably vote for Gulliani. He's no leader, it was media hype, that's all.

Dictators usually get assassinated along with the brownshirts. So which are you?

Oh, and tell the "decider" to fix his own mess. :roflol:

We know, BF. You favored the tortures, rape rooms, genocide by Saddam. You were quite ok w/ the U.N. piling resolution upon resolution on Iraq, and nothing ever getting done. We understand. You'd prefer that NOTHING be done until a nuke goes off or a sarin gas cannister is released in a crowded airport, mall or subway. THEN and only then would you start to whine and bitch about how nothing was ever done, blah blah blah.

We get it. You're a whiner. A 'glass half-empty' complainer who will bitch about anything and everything just to get attention.

The brownshirts appear to be on your side and shut down free speech everywhere they appear.

As to what I am, I am not a delusional idiot such as you.

I'm sure all of the chickenhawks in DC are cowards too. Like say, John Kerry, John Murtha...etc. Oh yea, and Dubya, oh that's right he stayed stateside during Nam.

How many Vietnam Vets visit this board?

We get it. You're a coward.

I congratulate you, Raptor you are much more kind than me.

As you can see, I ammended my post. Not out of respect or any such thing, but simply that I wanted to more fully explain my view. Fact is, a troll like BF needs no response in the 1st place.

Coward, troll? I don't see you running to the nearest recruitment office.

A shallow, empty reply by the whacko Left. About what I'd expect.

A U.S. Marine squad was marching north of Fallujah when they came upon an Iraqi terrorist, badly injured and unconscious. On the opposite side of the road was an American Marine in a similar but less serious state.

The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men, the squad leader asked the injured Marine what had happened.

The Marine reported, "I was heavily armed and moving north along the highway here, and coming south was a heavily armed insurgent. We saw each other and both took cover in the ditches along the road.

"I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein was a miserable, lowlife scumbag, and he yelled back that Ted Kennedy is a good-for-nothing, fat, left wing liberal drunk." "So I said that Osama Bin Ladin dresses and acts like a frigid, mean-spirited lesbian! He retaliated by yelling, Oh yeah? Well, so does Hillary Clinton !"

"And, there we were, in the middle of the road, shaking hands, when a truck hit us"
