Welcome(?) to Alabama Nick

Read this entire article. This guy is dead on.

Nick, meet Crimson Tide fans. Crimson Tide fans, meet Nick.

Regretting it already, huh, Nick?

Just like the cars in the drive-thru piling up at Sonic, the Alabama fans and their unreasonably high expectations are piling up, and Saban will soon be caught beneath them, pulled under the surface by a literal Crimson Tide.

Don’t worry though, Nick. They might be as cordial to you as they were to Mike Shula. After all, Shula couldn’t turn around a program decimated by probation in four full seasons. Four seasons?

Bear Bryant would have won four national championships in those four seasons, and then retroactively claimed the title from the previous season for good measure.

Here's another beautiful quote from the same article:

If the SEC Championships don’t start rolling into Tuscaloosa, expect Saban to be gone soon. Never mind that Alabama doesn’t have the talent to win championships. The Bear would’ve won all five BCS bowls this season with a middle school team.

This site is based out of Chicago and yet they have nailed life in T-town. It is amazing the clarity of view from Sears Tower.

It's probably all the wind up there carry the t-town stench right to their noses.

Interesting factoid, boys and girls. Why is the Windy City so named?

WRONG!!! It's not the actual wind...it's because of their WIND-bag politicians. Thought you might enjoy that little tidbit.

i think the tide fans will give nick plenty of time and opportunity to win.

i'm guessing that the rednecks and the PTBs both are happy to have a "name" there, and therefore will cut him some slack, whereas Shula, having no experience, had to prove himself.

further, they've so committed themselves to this guy that they better let him stay a few years....
