Birmingham is 96th out of a 100 cities studied for eco-friendly drivers according to a report from Men's Health magazine. The Magic City is the fifth worst among biggest gas-guzzler cities, 74th for mass transit quality and usage, 51st for fuel wasted and 58th in gas consumption. Birmingham trails Montgomery on Men's Health's list of "green drivers." Montgomery ranked 79th thanks to being 10th in fuel wasted, No. 1 in lowest number of high ozone days and 30th in air quality. The Capital City is 89th in gas consumption and 97th in mass transit usage. Birmingham is sixth in fewest household miles driven yearly while Montgomery is 45th.
