DKW 86 7,450
lost to this week. They may finish no better than 5-6 in the East. is now in a 1-7 run since being 6-0 and ranked #6 in the nation. CSS can not be happy about this. fans must know they will never build a consistent program. They have taken 2 MNC Winner Coaches and run them into the ground. I say it is likely 50-50 he will be actively looking for better situation soon.
AU alum 2
I don't think he'll be looking for anything else. I think he'll retire after this season.
bigsixfive 328
He was pretty high on a recent highly ranked recruiting class (07 maybe?), he might stick around until they're a little older/experienced to see what happens.

AU Cav 0
No head coach at South Carolina has ever gone on to be head coach at another school. If Spurrier leaves SC, odds are that he'll be done with football and settle in retirement. Not because there is some curse to coaches at SC, but retirement has got to be better than football after USC. The question I wonder is, has college football caught up with Spurrier? It's been a few years since he's been on top of the college game. Maybe football has normalized to an extent that without superior talent, he's just another ball coach.
