DeAndre Woods - committs to MSU

Clay-Chalkville rising senior DeAndre Woods has made a verbal pledge to attend Mississippi State next fall.

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound receiver prospect caught 10 touchdown passes among his 36 catches last fall. He was a 2011 Birmingham News All-Metro first-team selection at receiver. The Alabama Sports Writers Association also named him an honorable mention to the Class 6A all-state football team last December.
