Baseball Heads To Lexington For Final Road Series Of The Season

The Auburn baseball team will play its final road

series of the season this weekend when travels to Lexington, Ky., for a

three-game series against Kentucky. Game times for the series are 6:30pm

ET on Friday, 7pm on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday, with the final two

games airing on the Big Blue Sports Network.

Auburn (27-22, 8-16 SEC) enters the weekend in 10th place in the SEC

standings, a game behind Kentucky (24-23, 9-15 SEC) and two-and-a-half

games behind Vanderbilt (29-20, 10-13 SEC) for the eighth and final spot

in the SEC Tournament. Vanderbilt plays at No. 13 Georgia (33-15, 14-10

SEC) this weekend.

Auburn will use the same rotation that it employed last weekend,

sending R-Fr. RHP Jon Luke Jacobs (3-4, 6.23 ERA) to the hill on Friday,

So. LHP Grant Dayton (2-5, 5.61) on Saturday and Fr. RHP Dexter Price

(3-2, 5.74) on Sunday.

Kentucky has announced that it will send Jr. LHP James Paxton (5-2,

5.40) to the mound on Friday and Sr. LHP Chris Rusin (5-4, 4.07) on

Saturday while it has yet to determine its starters for Sunday.
