Fall World Series Begins On Thursday At 6PM

The Auburn baseball team will play its annual Fall

World Series this week at Plainsman Park, playing a three-game series

beginning Thursday night at 6pm. Game two will be played at 6pm on

Friday and the series finale will be played at noon on Sunday. Admission

to all three exhibition games is free.

Assistant coach Link Jarrett will coach the gray team while volunteer

assistant coach Ty Megahee will coach the white team.

The starting pitching matchups for the series will be Jon Luke Jacobs

vs. Cole Nelson on Thursday, Stephen Kohlscheen vs. Grant Dayton on

Friday and Cory Luckie vs. Slade Smith on Sunday.

The roster for the gray team is:

Pitchers: Bradley Hendrix, Austin Hubbard, Stephen Kohlscheen, Cory

Luckie, Miles Morton, Cole Nelson, Brian Houghton, Ty Kelley, Chris

O’Neil and Michael Hurst.

Catchers: Tony Caldwell and Caleb Bowen

Position Players: Justin Hargett, Mitchell Self, Hunter Morris, Jordan

Neese, Kevin Patterson, Creede Simpson and Trent Mummey

The roster for the white team is:

Pitchers: Justin Bryant, Grant Dayton, Matt Lewis, Slade Smith, Zach

Blatt, Jon Luke Jacobs, Dexter Price, Sean Ray, Garrett Bush and Patrick

Merkling

Catchers: Wes Gilmer, Ryan Jenkins and Ryan Welke

Position Players: Brian Fletcher, Justin Bryant, Dan Gamache, Wes

Gilmer, Casey McElroy, Brandon Perry and Patrick Savage.
