One week prior to the A-Day spring game, the Tigers hosted a crop of impressive, young talent for the program’s second private scrimmage. Auburn WR target Justyn Ross (Benjamin Wolk/SEC Country) There were so many top prospects on campus from Thursday to Sunday that SEC Country — along with attending an Under Armour camp in Atlanta — wasn’t able to snag interviews with everyone. Here are some of the top prospects who visited over the weekend: 4-star QB Gerry Bohanon 4-star OLB Zakoby McClain 3-star DE Andres Fox 2019 TE Ryland Goede 4-star TE Tyneil Hopper 2019 WR Dominick Blaylock 4-star OL Richard Gouraige 4-star WR Justyn Ross FSU grad transfer Wilson Bell 4-star CB Christian Tutt 2019 DB Jalen Alexander Keep in mind this wasn’t a pre-planned junior day, so to speak. It just turned into a star-studded visitors list. That shows some momentum Auburn is beginning to pick up on the recruiting trail. The Tigers are setting up for a strong class, as long as they can set a solid base this summer and add to it with success in the fall. Much of that momentum will begin next Saturday for A-Day.
