Former Auburn quarterback Dameyune Craig is making minimum wage.

Details of Craig's contract as Florida State's quality control specialist and offensive analyst were released Tuesday by Noles 247.

Craig, who has previous coaching stints at Auburn, Florida State and South Alabama, is making $8.10 an hour in an agreement which ends June 30.

Don't feel bad for Craig. He is owed $575,000 in 2017 from LSU as a buyout after he was fired from his role as a receivers coach/recruiting coordinator by Tigers coach Ed Orgeron.

According to Noles 247, he is listed as an "Other Personal Services" employee, which is a position designated position for "accomplishing short-term or intermittent tasks."

Noles 247 states, "Typically, these OPS agreements are re-applied to the next fiscal year."

The lower-than-expected pay is not necessarily out of the norm.

For example, for Alabama offensive analyst Steve Sarkisian was paid $35,000 as reported by AL.com.

Sarkisian, who didn't have a contract with the university in that role, was paid a pro-rated amount of $2,651.52 for the month of September after beginning employment on Sept. 4, according to the university's expenditures website.

LSU fired Craig in February as wide receivers coach.

Craig, 42, was hired at LSU last season after three years in a similar post at Auburn.

Craig, a Mobile native, starred at Blount High School before playing quarterback at Auburn from 1994-97. Following a 5-year pro football career and one year as a high school assistant coach, he was hired as a graduate assistant by Nick Saban at LSU in 2004.
