Some people like to look at "Stars". I like to look at the real-life-game-day-on-the-field size, quickness, speed and athleticism of players. What I currently see, execpt in a few cases, is our roster is the lacking of those. A lot of people will come back and say "well you need to develop" those things and I do agree in development. But, I don't believe you can develop the basics of speed, quickness and athleticism.

I’m not bent out of shape about it as much as you think, but this kind of thing currently happens all the time where someone or some group is elevated to speak or opine collectively for a group. AUFamily is a group. Carry on. It’s just my opinion that’s all.

This is where a strong AD's job is recognized by having checks and balances in place to control the overal operations of the athletic department. Let's face it, the AD is the "top dog", regardless of pay and when the other side tries to tarnish our athletic department they should be prepared to defend and call out the other side.

I like it. But now is the time to be carefully focused on doing things right because the other side will manufacturer, create and slander to slow our roll. If we're ready and prepared we can flip it back on them. In summary, be prepared for what the other side may launch at us.
