  1. Pretty sure he's going to graduate. No way he sticks around here.
  2. But you just glossed over all of my other obvious points which were the real questions LOL. HOW IS THE OFFENSIVE CHEMISTRY BETTER SINCE NIX LEFT? It's great that Ashford is yelling at Tank while TJ Finley is sitting on his phone making cryptic posts about how Ashford sucks? Really? And again, is Bo Nix a team cancer at Oregon? Or is his cancerous behavior only activated once he hits a certain vicinity to Auburn's campus? Guys who are true "cancers" are generally going to be that way regardless of where they are. You need to just accept that the whole s*** was overblown. Just like last year it was overblown how amazing we'd be once Harsin brought in his guys who "mesh with him". I like how now you're giving Bobo and Mason credit, but wait, they along with Nix were the main whipping boys for last season. Did you forget already? The team was going to be good this year because we got rid of Bobo, Mason, and Nix. Those were your three big moves that were going to lead to unity and competence. Whoops.
  3. How is the locker room this year without him in it? Stellar? Why do you have one QB (Finley) making Tik Tok's about Robbie Ashford and basically saying that he sucks? Last year's team was winning until Nix got hurt. The team chemistry couldn't have been as bad you claim it to be. They beat LSU, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Since then their highlight win is a should-be loss to Missouri. Again, if the team chemistry was so bad with Nix, why was the team so much more competitive? That makes no sense. This just looks like one of those over-blown stories because he was chosen as the fall-guy for a lot of Auburn's failure. And what, he got to Oregon where they're currently rolling and magically he's not a locker room cancer there? If you check Twitter, Anthony Schwartz already made a post that was meant to poke fun at people who threw Nix under the bus. I don't buy that he was as hated or "cancerous" as you're still trying to sell him as. I'm not saying that he didn't cause problems or whatever, but again: explain to me how any of the current guys are "better" in the locker room? This is a team that should be 2-5, the team chemistry can't POSSIBLY be good lol.
  4. This is idiotic lol. Kentucky football will go back to being a ~6-7 win program once Stoops leaves unless they absolutely hit a HR hire. He has taken that s***-hole program so far. Find me the last Kentucky HC who won as consistently as he has won. Your Kentucky friends sound like idiots.
  5. This doesn't make much sense, man. The team played considerably better with Nix at QB. He was replaced by a guy (Calzada) who opted to have surgery instead of suiting up for his team this year even though he is healthy enough to be playing. The other guy they brought in last year (TJ Finley) is currently posting things on social media mocking Robbie Ashford and is quite clearly disgruntled/will not stay with the team. Then, you have Robbie Ashford who is blowing up on the sidelines and visibly pouting and getting into it with Tank Bigsby (isn't this what we knocked Nix for?) So I don't see how anyone on the current roster is behaving any "better" than Nix was. The main difference is that the team was clearly considerably more competitive with Nix than they are with any of these other guys. I think it's about time to put to rest the whole "team cancer" stuff with Nix. It clearly wasn't as real as it was made out to be, and really, the entire takeaway here is that he absorbed way too much blame considering the situation he was in. It seems very strange to me to see so much "support" for Ashford given that he shows the same emotionality flaws that Nix showed, who was blasted for those flaws. Ashford in general is like the poor man's Nix (even from a playing standpoint/flaws standpoint) but why is he so beloved? Nix also legitimately played his heart out so it can't be because Ashford "plays hard".
  6. Auburn has some of the dumbest and most clueless fans imaginable. Seriously. And it's 100% more harmful than "tHe bOoStERs" who at least think they're doing the right thing and want success. A real portion of this fanbase is stuck in a perpetual state of Stockholm syndrome and sadism wherein they view the program from the most pathetic light imaginable. See how quickly they make heroes out of anyone who seemingly stands on the opposite side of "the boosters" (ie: Allen Greene and Bryan Harsin).
  7. You made a statement which I gave a legitimate response to and now you're spinning your wheels into 18 different directions that have nothing to do with what you said initially or what I even responded with. I actually said nothing about whether I wanted Freeze or not, nor did I bring up his record against anyone as any sort of point for hiring or not hiring him. Have a great day, man. You have already proven that you aren't actually looking for a real discussion. If you think that his offensive output isn't being affected by the fact that he is forced to play his THIRD STRING quarterback (he actually put in his FOURTH STRING guy for a few plays yesterday), then I don't know what to tell you. Do you even watch football?
  8. This is very silly and wrong. He's playing with a 3rd string QB, dude. This is Liberty - you saw how different Alabama's offense looked with Bryce Young out, and their backup is actually another former Top 100 recruit. Liberty doesn't have 3-4 QB's on their roster all of whom are ready to throw up 40+ points even against Gardner Webb. They are 6-1 with two of their QB's being injured. Their starter got hurt on like the first drive of the game and hasn't played since. He is actually expected to be back pretty soon. Again, Alabama with their QB out scored 24 against A&M and almost lost the game. You need some perspective.
  9. Heupel is quite clearly a better offensive mind/scheme guy than Freeze in my opinion. I mean I think Freeze is pretty good (maybe a bit stale, I don't see anything revolutionary there since his product at Ole Miss) but Heupel to me has proven to be in the category of: Ryan Day, Lane Kiffin, Lincoln Riley.
  10. He may only be good because of a QB who only managed to throw for 9 TD's and 5 INT's and couldn't even secure the starting job at Virginia Tech? How about you give the damn man his dues for developing that QB? He wasn't throwing for 40+ TD's a year before he got there. The absolute success of NUMEROUS QB's under him should give you a hint that he didn't just find magic under a rock by accident. Also, just watch their offense my man. They have receivers running wide open all over the field. Against everyone. His scheming and play-calling are elite; THAT is why Hendon Hooker can do what he's doing.
  11. Bro, they abused us. By the way, they were well on their way to scoring AGAIN at the end of the game before they went for the victory formation. I love how you go through every single excuse, as if we had nothing that went our way.
  12. 21 points on BAMA in the FIRST QUARTER. His teams at UCF lost because his defense couldn't keep up with his offense. Just not enough talent. Again, at Tennessee they have the money and resources to field a good enough defense. I don't think you understand how hard it is to play against this Tennessee offense.
  13. Oh poor soul....😆 Texas A&M's defense will kill us.
  14. Dawg they've been running it down our throats since the very first whistle.
  15. So your friend believes that if we theoretically lost every remaining game and go 3-8 this season, that he comes back next year because there is "no plan"? Your friend has no idea what he's talking about.
  16. We have surprisingly scored some points. Everything else I said has aged like wine. They're at ****ing 422 yards rushing. Just an absolute beatdown on the ground.
  17. @e808How you liking this matchup so far buddy? We're right there with Ole Miss amirite? No offense dude, but you're so wrong on basically everything you've said. Like hilariously wrong.
  18. Statistically they have both a better offense AND a better defense (more points and yards per game on offense and less points and yards allowed on defense). If you just watch them play and don't look at stats, it is very obvious that Ole Miss is much more dynamic and dangerous offensively. I could also point out that Penn State won 7 games last season, and Ole Miss won 10. Penn State really hasn't proven anything yet this season. Their best win is a 4-point win over Purdue. Ole Miss hasn't been challenged a lot yet either, but Penn State is coming off a very unimpressive 17-7 win over a 1-5 Northwestern team. Wisconsin, which just fired their HC two weeks ago, beat Northwestern to the tune of 42-7 last week.
  19. I'd love to see what analysis went into this statement. Ole Miss has the 7th best rushing offense in the country at 242 rush yards per game. They have an absolutely dominant running game. We rank in the bottom third nationally in run defense at 163.8 yards surrendered per game. We just came off a game wherein Georgia ran for 292 yards on us. Penn State ran for 245 yards on us. Our linebackers are beyond bad; this isn't a good matchup at all for us. The only "flaw" in Ole Miss' offense is that Dart can get over-aggressive with his throws, but we are a team that has just 1 interception on the year - and it came from Derick Hall. Our DB's have NOT shown any ability to pick passes off. Ole Miss is a better team than Penn State who absolutely whipped us in our own stadium; we are playing at Ole Miss tomorrow. For the life of me I can't see where this optimism is coming from. Players on this team are starting to give up, and we just flat out aren't good.
  20. Call it whatever you want. Go watch some of the OL "lowlights" from the Georgia game. Multiple instances of guys just letting defenders run right past them. They have no idea who to block. The LB's are terrible and have no idea where to be. The team is one of the most penalized in the country. You have guys dropping and fumbling the ball all over the place. This is a reflection of coaching, obviously, but this is a BAD team.
  21. LMAO those aren't even remotely comparable scenarios. Will Levis got absolutely clobbered and he fumbled the ball. He wasn't about to score, nor was it a "fluke" play. The Missouri guy was literally reaching out to WIN THE GAME and the ball flew out of his hand. Before that, their amazing kicker missed the easiest FG of all time (the following week he made like three 50+ yard FG's against Georgia). Even with the Kentucky fumble, Ole Miss was winning the entire game. Their defense made a good play and won the game. I don't think you understand what "lucky" means. You keep saying that you don't see how Ole Miss blows us out and I literally showed you the stats that show that they score about 25 more points per game than they allow. Your arguments might make sense if we were a good team. BUT WE ARE A BAD TEAM. We are in line with all the other "bad" teams they've played. I can't imagine trying to knock their win against Kentucky (good defense, good running game, elite QB) when you don't even understand that we've beaten no one. LSU is not a very good team, by the way. Ole Miss is MUCH better. Ole Miss is better than Penn State who killed us in our own stadium. Penn State barely beat a 1-5 Northwestern team a week or two ago.
  22. Even saying "they've played no one" is oblivious to the fact that we are in fact also "NO ONE" lol. Seriously, our team should be 2-4 at this point. That "win" against Missouri was not a win. People really need to grasp that we are a bad team that is undisciplined and turns the ball over a lot (these are hallmark traits of bad teams).
