Auburn has to maximize it's funds. Think about all the current players on our roster looking to renew their NIL deals. Some will stay the same, some will slightly increase while others it will take a decent increase to keep them from entering the portal. Im sure the following players will have increases to their NIL: J. Hunter D. Alston J. Cobb P. Thorne J. Johnson (may take a decent increase if CHF wants to keep him). C. Lew I wonder at what point they sit down with each player to review their NIL? I wonder what our annual budget is for NIL? It's just seems crazy to me for these boosters to fork out millions each year with no return on their investment other than emotion or "hope" that the team does well.

Question is how much is Auburn willing to pay a QB to come here to push Thorne or possibly start? Top Tier will be 2 million: Riley Leonard. Bidding war with ND. Other than that I dont know how much McCall is worth or even for a 2-4yr qb such as MJ Morris at NC State. I wonder what CHF game plan is - save the 2 million and split those funds among quality OL/DL transfers? It's a tough decision. Pay big money now to bring in an NFL caliber QB to boost WR recruits to sign with Auburn 2024 class.?

I wish McCall could have worked out last year. I think it would be best if Auburn found someone with 2+ years of eligibility. Either way I think we will be fine with PT next year and Hank/Walker as back ups.

CHF said he watched the film of the last play and froze the frame - all players were in the correct position to defend the play. Top players make big time plays. Perfectly thrown ball and catch by two 5 star players. Two philosophies defending that play - pass rush vs defending the end zone to knock down the ball. Pros and cons to each type of defense. If we try to rush the passer that leaves WRs one on one. That one play did not cost us the game. - we had the ball on the 5 yard line - dropped pass for TD had to kick FG. - fumbled punt. - could have ran more time off the clock if called running play inside the 5 instead of dropped pass for TD.

I’ve seen a lot of Auburn vs uat games in my 54 years. I have never felt this defeated before a game. Even last year with Carnell I had a positive feeling even though I knew we would lose. I hate this feeling!!!!!

He’s already a very successful Auburn alum! That’s the whole point of graduating from Auburn. His accomplishments: 1. Has a degree from Auburn. 2 Beat bama. 3. Has already set himself up for a very successful future financially even without an NFL career. very smart young man who received excellent career advice!
