  1. Unfortunately, the guy that wrote the song emphatically states that he is NOT a Christian.
  2. It was also the name of a very popular song written by Todd Rundgren in 1977 (Rundgren's version was not popular) but England Dan (Seals) and John Ford Coley's cover went to #10 in 1979. As an aside, Dan Seals (England Dan) is the brother of Jim Seals from "Seals and Crofts" fame. Now you know!
  3. Nope. This is the best commercial ever. Mo Brooks turned this exchange into a hilarious TV spot.
  4. There are two things that know about you with certitude and your cuteness is not one of them...........first your level of intelligence is no where near where you think it is, and secondly, I'm positive that part of your anatomy is very small......and it's not your ass!
  5. What an A$$ you are! In fact some didn't switch at all. Fulbright was Bill Clinton's mentor. Al Gore Sr. had a son that was the Democratic VP of the US. Robert Byrd died a D. Talmadge was the D Governor of Georgia......Sparkman has a street named after him in Huntsville and a building named after him at UAH. There is a Space Center named after Stennis in Mississippi. You have a good day!
  6. Such BS.....Only one Southern Senator switched to a Republican. That was Strom Thurmond. All the rest of the "Good Ol Boys" stayed Democrat. Some big Democrat names too, like Gore, Fulbright, Talmadge, Byrd, Stennis, Sparkman, Russell and Long. Anyway the point stands that everyone of these Senator's stayed Democrats and continued to get elected in the South!! And everyone I mentioned voted NO on the Civil Rights Act of 1964!!
  7. Glad to see that you and McDoofus will use that lens to view this type of situation the next time an unarmed person is tragically killed by a cop trying to do his/her job. Considering all of the interactions between cops and citizens every day in a country of 340M people (shot and killed by cop in 2020 were 457 white, 241 black, 169 hispanic, 28 other and 126 unknown) it happens rarely. Just to be clear, these are "shot and killed by police," so unarmed people shot and killed is a lower number but I could not find that stat online. I wish police never had to shoot anyone but that is not possible in order to protect the public. All in all, 1021 people out of 340M is really small number unless you are the family of one of the poor souls that died.
  8. Biden’s Week – 1. Stood up by Stacy Abrams during his Atlanta speech about Voting Rights (her main issue). She must have had something important to do like get her hair done. 2. Inflation was reported at 7% year over year. The highest it’s been in 40 years. 3. Joe lost his bid to change Senate filibuster rules. 4. The SCOTUS ruled that his OSHA Vaccine Mandate was unconstitutional. 5. Quinnipiac results came out that his approval rating was 33%. Who could’ve ever imagined with his favorable press coverage, as compared to Trump, Joe’s approval rating would be lower than Trump’s? Wow, that’s a horrible week!
  9. The side you claim was "impotently whining" effing weaponized the Federal Government of the US against a US citizen in order to try to find something they could get rid of Trump with. You're right, a few hundred unarmed a**holes at the Capitol pales in comparison, so whataboutism isn't analogous!
  10. Hey Bird, I didn't know President Reagan had a child that was an Auburn fan 😎
  11. Yeah, but I don't care whether or not he sees my posts! 🤣
  12. I'm pretty sure he has me on "ignore," so he won't be able to see my post. That dude definitely needs some help from a Therapist though😳
  13. Yeah, but the 4 that died..........1 was a drug overdose, 2 died of heart attacks and 1 was shot to death by a Capitol Police Officer even though she was unarmed! Per Dr. Francisco Diaz’s official determinations: • Ashli Babbitt, 35, died from a gunshot wound to her left shoulder • Roseanne Boyland, 34, died of acute amphetamine intoxication • Kevin Greeson, 55, died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease • Benjamin Phillips, 50, died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease Babbitt, a U.S. Air Force veteran from Southern California, was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer while she climbed through a broken window on a door leading to the Speaker’s Lobby, The New York Times reported. https://www.fox23.com/news/trending/dc-medical-examiner-confirms-causes-death-4-who-died-jan-6-capitol-riot/MZMP3MS2JZGTHKAGBM2YPCRG5I/
  14. This paragraph describes a ton of people that post on this site continually. You know the posters I'm talking about!
  15. Well, since you asked......just about everything you post! 😳 Have a good day!
  16. Music trivia........... This song was written by Bruce Springsteen and released on his first album in 1973 (although his version was commercially unsuccessful). Manfred Mann's version reached #1 in Feb 1977 and remains Springsteen's only #1 single as a songwriter.
  17. Spoken like a true WHITE SUPREMACIST!!! No wonder he was labeled as such by the main stream media!!😳
  18. You are correct. I just found this. The 125 troops were part of a "Limited Mobilization" that supported infrastructure, such as utilities and fire stations.........
  19. Well #2, you are all-knowing. I could be wrong but I posted based on media reports such as: https://www.channel3000.com/wisconsin-national-guard-troops-ready-for-mobilization-to-kenosha/ Last summer, Gov. Tony Evers deployed National Guard troops to the city following a violent night of protests during which Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people, killing two of them. Often the media is wrong (Russia for instance). If I am wrong, it is because of them!
  20. The fact of the matter is that the Gov of Wisconsin, a Democrat, should have called up the Wisconsin National Guard to insure order after the Blake shooting. Remember Trump was President at that time and the Democrats thought the protests/riots were a good thing to keep Trump from getting re-elected. The shootings involving Rittenhouse happened on the third night of protests/riots and if the Guard had been involved there would have been no need for citizens to get involved in protecting businesses. Something like 20 vehicles had been burned the first two nights at that car lot. I find it strange, now that Trump is no longer President, that Gov Evers has mobilized 500 Wisconsin Guard troops to make sure nothing crazy happens after the verdict. If he had done that after the Jacob Blake shooting, two rioters would still be alive and Gabe G. would not be missing a bicep. Your characterization that he was waiving around an AR-15 is laughable. He retreated every chance and only used force when his retreat was blocked or he got knocked to the ground. It takes an unbelievably stupid human to attack someone with an AR-15 strapped to his chest anyway. Of course, the people doing the attacking were in that location lighting dumpsters on fire to try and damage the car dealership to begin with so some judgement could be made about their mental faculties from that.
  21. What does this mean to you? You know the US has an INCOME tax and not a WEALTH tax, right? Since there is no WEALTH tax currently, what the hell do you mean by "higher wealth taxes?"
  22. Try Stitchworks (https://stitch4u.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=1). They made many custom Jerseys for me over the years while my son played High School and College football. His mom loved to wear a jersey that looked identical to his while watching from the stands. Anyway, I used Stitchworks to make replica AU jerseys for Christmas gifts the year after AU won the natty (they looked identical as I ordered the SEC patches and Fiesta Bowl patches from e-bay). They do excellent work and they were started and are owned by Auburn graduates. Sometimes there are copyrights involved with putting college names on things but you can get around that with good iron on letters. Good luck.
  23. I wonder if he was happy about the people that died of AIDS. That was certainly caused by making bad choices on their part and was completely preventable!(at least the people that got it from unprotected sexual contact)!
