  1. Note for myself tomorrow, regardless of what happens in the 1st quarter... Pessimistic: If we are down by more than 10 at the half, might wanna open the whiskey Realistic: If we are within 7 at the half, then we have a chance. Open the whiskey. Optimistic: If we are tied or somehow UP at the half, JHS is going to be a friggin' nuthouse in the 2nd half. Open the whiskey.
  2. 1) Tank seemed to be pulling on his leg or reaching down to his foot after this TD on the sideline. Caddy came over and seemed to be checking on him. Maybe he is giving us a hint. 2) Tank has had 27 carries for 87 yards the last two games, and he had 2 key drops in the LSU game. Hopefully he isn't unhappy with the folks around him or the coaching staff.
  3. With Owen and Zakoby, we have a strong rushing D. Hopefully that continues Saturday. Also, looks like Stetson Bennett went 18/40 with 3 INTs @Bama last year in the only comparable road game scenario. Feeling optimistic that we can hold them to <20 if we don't give up points on offense or special teams.
  4. As much as I'm curious about what it is...anybody at least willing to confirm that he is likely to return at some point during the regular season?
  5. "6-6...most likely"? I know it's your opinion, but geez that's pessimistic. The team is 4-1 with home games against Ole Miss (after our bye week), MSU, South Carolina...and on the road at a freefalling aTm. Arkie is a pure toss-up (and fortunately 11AM kick). UGA and Bama are the only "likely" losses on our schedule. I think 8-4 is "most likely" with 9-3 "fully within reach" which is where a lot of folks had us to begin the year anyway.
  6. I was wondering why I got a thumbs down lol! I may go back and watch the other games too. The official list seems to always be lower than the actual # Officially 5 in this game vs. 6 actual. It is egregious and has to stop
  7. Here's my list of drops. Tank supposedly had a second one but I didn't see it on the first rewatch. Shed *could* have caught the 3rd down pass in the 4th, but I don't think it should be counted as a drop. Anyway, 6 total 1st Q: None 2nd Quarter: (1) - Shenker on 1st-10, 8min...makes first down catch on next play (2) - Kobe Hudson on 2nd-4, 6 min. (3) - Shenker 1st-10, 3min (4) - Kobe 2nd-10, 3min 3rd Quarter: None 4th Quarter: (5) - Demetrius Robertson , 1st-10, 9min (6) - Tank, 1st-10, 7min
  8. Well, maybe UGA is shooting their load today
  9. yah, 1 great game to start the year...then a bunch of the same
  10. Wow, I've been pretty down on Bo, but those stats show a slight year-over-year improvement and we know that drops have been a huge problem this year. We would all feel much better about our offense this year if just a few of those key drops would have come down as catches. I wish there was a WR drop compilation just so we can see how bad it has been.
  11. Best scenario is for TJ to start. All options are ok in that trade space. Option 1: He plays well, then we most likely have a solid chance to win the game...maybe even comfortably Option 2: He plays average and Harsin gives Bo a shot to re-assert himself. Bo trying to win back the starting job is a different situation that nobody has ever seen before. I'm optimistic this would work out well, assuming we haven't fell too far behind. Option 3: TJ plays average and is replaced by Bo. Bo plays average and we most likely lose the game. However, this is the only scenario that we could see DD have an opportunity to see the field (maybe even late in the game) or discussed as an option moving forward. We'll know what we got at least in that room. Having said all of that, I fully expect that Bo will start with TJ warmed up ready to enter the game sometime in the first half.
  12. We have the better rush offense and rush defense, right?
  13. I am surprised that they are allowed to interview outside of very specific environments, especially given the circumstances on the QB situation and Coach Corn getting the axe.
  14. Directing "you better win games buddy" at CBH is a terrible statement to make. He looks like an immature privileged brat that just lost one of his sources for info on the staff. WRs are far and away the worst position group on the field every Saturday. It's been that way for the past 3 games...dropped TD throws, fumble at a key moment, slow guys that can't jump running the 50/50 deep routes, false starts, blocking in the back, missed blocks, falling down when wide open...it's is ridiculous. They are THE reason we lost @PSU
  15. JBoy, you mad bro? "You better win games buddy" jeez, what a terrible take
  16. Finley had to jump up and down to get our 11th man, a WR, onto the field during the game winning drive. WR drops have plagued us all season too. Our WRs also get more penalties than they should. Timing is shocking, especially for Auburn. That it is happening because that unit isn't improving as the season goes along is less surprising.
  17. If true, it's an absolutely BRILLIANT move by CBH to have the team embrace the White Out! Friggin' LOVE this staff right now
  18. I just don't think Gus had the right formula for road games. It wasn't as much of a Bo problem as it was a Gus problem. I'm really, really hoping that this staff has a better road game plan than the previous staff.
  19. Their fans saved a cat! At least give them one more week in the poll out of respect 🙂
  20. yeah, Caddy was already a legend in my mind...but dammit he keeps pulling my heartstrings with this kind of stuff. That man loves AU and has assembled a heckuva RB room on the Plains
  21. We should be up to #22 too, maybe even #21 #21 Utah losing to BYU #14 USC getting blasted by Stanford #15 Texas blasted by Arky and #22 Miami barely squeaked by Appalachian State after getting throttled by Bama
