Offense- Thorne. Can he be SEC average or better? Things will go downhill quick if not. Defense- Mcleod on the edge. We havnt had speed off the edge in years. Is he the answer? ST- McPherson Bonus- Hugh Freeze. Hes waited for years to return to the big time. Can he make the much needed new pieces fit? Can he scheme around the deficiencies that remain? Can he bring the AU offense into the 21st century and show QBs and WRs this is the school to come to now?

How can anyone argue with what Harbaugh is saying? Treating the players as partners is the obvious long term answer to the current NIL system. The boosters will tire of paying at some point and the TV money( because fans want to see the players play) will be there to fill the void.

We were on our way to a Sun Belt roster with Harsin “leading” the way. I dont think we couldve gotten another coach who wouldve been able to flip this roster with quality players the way Freeze has done.

The guy who really pushed for Freeze is looking pretty smart as of today.

The SEC thought ESPN would throw more money at them by adding Texas and Oklahoma. Didnt happen. ESPN is in cost cutting mode and Iger is openly talking about Disney selling them off. Will the SEC be willing to add anyone else if its not going to increase their media rights? Schools would actually get less money by adding more teams if the TV money is fixed.

Spot on, I think it actually gives teams like Auburn a chance to compete for top end talent.

Hes a swiss army knife for Ben Russell. And he really wanted a scholarship to Auburn. I think both sides will be happy.

I was pumped when he was announced and hes been better than I ever imagined. Auburn matters again.
