100 passing yards. I read a stat that in auburns last P5 games we have failed to reach this number. Just incredible.

I hoped coming into the season that Thorne could be average at least. Instead he looks absolutely terrified to be on the field for the second road game in a row. Could the WR and OL play be better? Sure but the glaring problem on this offense is a QB who wont pull the trigger and if he manages to he overthrows the target by 5 yards minimum.

I know Freeze wanted to turn things over to coordinators so he could recruit but Im ready for Freeze the play caller to make an appearance.

Im good with that. Its obvious we can run the ball on overmatched teams. Less obvious what we can do when the lines stacked and nowhere to run. At some point you have to know.

These numbers seem hard to imagine unless you actually watched the game. If theres not a big change in offensive strategy this week Im really concerned going forward.

The talk from the beat guys has always been that he throws the prettiest ball but struggles when theres a live pass rush coming after him. After watching Thorne look totally rattled Sat I wonder if the coaches feel the same?

If the game plan continues to be a 2-1 or 3-1 run/pass ratio its gonna be a long season. Besides handcuffing this years offense, current and future WRs and QB recruits are going to believe what their eyes tell them is being put on the field. Id rather struggle attempting to open things up than try to grind out boring wins(which wont work anyway).

This game showed exactly why last week they shouldve turned Thorne loose and threw the damn ball before going on the road. He looked scared to death tonight. After playing at Mich St I didnt expect him to look so ovwerwhelmed. And Id be happy if Alston was RB1 over Hunter. The talk on Alston being much improved looks legit.

I thought Thorne needed 30 attempts minimum to get work with the new receivers in game action. I feel sure Freeze will open it up but AUs headed to a stadium cross country with more questions than answers in the passing game.

Against what looks like a strong defensive front 6-7, yes. At this point I dont think were close to being able to do what FSU is doing to them.

I wouldve really liked to have seen the ball in the air more today. Going on the road for a 9 PM game, I think there are still big questions in that part of the offense. I may have missed it did Fairweather have a pass thrown his way today?
