  1. Interesting - my wife lived there (on the Wire Rd side) for a few years before we moved in together in 2018. No issues back then except drunk kids being too loud now and then.
  2. @RunInRed You really holding the Dark Theme hostage for a donation? ๐Ÿคจ I'll consider it........... ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
  3. Been absent a while so this is news to me. Absolutely heartbroken to hear he passed. ๐Ÿ˜” Always loved interacting with him and I will certainly miss him here.
  4. Wait, I've said heard this before... ๐Ÿ˜„
  5. I was very surprised to see the clip surface involving him as it seemed very out of character. Thanks for clarifying!
  6. Boy did he! ๐Ÿคฃ My issue with the whole thing aside, he certainly took it to 'em.
  7. No no no, we can't say it's fine just because we "got away with it" this time. Obviously, we're not seeing the whole picture here (as @Momma Worm is saying) but I don't want our guys being the physical aggressor in these situations. Let that fire fuel you on the field but don't get yourself into trouble before you even get out there.
  8. Not 100% sure, but I think he could've still been penalized and possibly ejected anyway. (Maybe @WarTiger can confirm/deny?) You don't want your guy as the aggressor in these situations. If his temper is up and he throws punches - what is he going to do in the game, especially if your offense is struggling? I'm not saying I wouldn't have done the same as him in retaliation (you are fairly defenseless when someone can grab your face mask like that and that gets you fired up) but you started it by grabbing his first (however briefly).
  9. Love ya 'Loof, but we're going to disagree with this mentality. lol I'm all for playing a fired up Shivers if he wasn't the guy that physically started the confrontation. If he does all of that in the game, he's ejected. That's basically 3 personal fouls on Shivers and one each for two Florida players. That's just not okay.
  10. Okay.. are you still going to be saying that if Gus comes out and says that Shivers has been suspended for his actions pregame? Or that he was suspended for the Florida game because of it? If so, that's an avoidable consequence.
  11. C'mon guys - I don't mind the smack talking or the retaliation - just don't be the first guy who gets physical with it. That's the only part I took issue with. He could've ignored them and kept his back to them. He could've walked away from them. He could've just run his mouth right back at them but he grabbed the face mask first. That puts him at fault. Doesn't matter if they were on "our side" of the field. It's Florida - that kind of crap should've been expected. LSU and Georgia will probably try similar crap before the game. The players can't let it get to them like that.
  12. No, the problem is that Shivers initiated contact by grabbing the UF player's facemask. Doesn't matter where the players were on the field or what was being said, unless they grabbed you first, you don't act out like that. I love Shivers, I like his fire and his fearlessness to go at it alone against 3-4 other players but don't be the guy that starts it physically.
  13. I'm going to assume that we got away with a targeting call (on Britt) this weekend against FL. Mullen tried to challenge it (but couldn't) but I'm surprised the booth didn't call it.
  14. 100% this. There looked to be ZERO adjustment after all these fumbles. Still running with the ball out away from the body, etc... it's infuriating!
