I'm afraid you're correct. I've been getting a bad feeling on how that position battle is shaking out and that no one has taken the job from the other two.

This is almost the exact grouping I proposed earlier in this or some other thread with the exception of swapping kentucky and Tennessee. I dont see the big deal when you play every team in your pod every year and every team in the entire conference in just a two year span. I want to play Florida more often and also get to play the two new comers often as well.

This guy is good right here. Fast for a big guy and pretty athletic too. I hope we get him.

You're right about Stidham. I had the same feeling when he was QB however Marshall would tuck and run or sidestep a guy all the time. I've seen TJ stand back there and have a guy bearing down on him and he just took his time and got hit while throwing the ball....that's the urgency I'm talking about. He could have pump faked and turned on his back foot to spin out of the way but maybe he just doesn't have that move in him. I don't know.

I see why teams want him at safety. He plays that position well because he has good hands and tackles well. Also has good anticipation on where the ball is going but all those things would make him a good receiver too minus tackling which Id trade for blocking. Looks to have good speed to me and locates the ball over his shoulder well too. Isnt he atleast 6' or 6'1? What's not to like?

Its hard for me to explain what I see with TJ. But last years TJ and LSU TJ just looks like a guy that isnt playing with a lot of urgency. Its almost like hes just going through the motions of the play and if a sack's coming he just takes it instead of trying to sidestep a guy or just tuck it and run. Its almost like he's saying to himself, oh well we'll get'em next time. Of course I can't know what he's thinking but his body language and play tells me that. I hope he has progressed and the game slows down for him while at the same time he shows some urgency and a desire to win beyond thoughts and words.

Let him lose 4 games this season and it will crumble.....maybe DAG can put his voodoo on it.

Besides that we have plenty of room to take a chance on players and after he's here maybe we could convince him Safety is his best chance to success if necessary.

From what I understand it was a legitimate fear but has since been medically cleared up to not be as serious as that. Hope my info is correct but we will know soon enough.
