I wonder if Harsin will bring on a ST coach and make C-Rob in charge of the OLB too.

I like AG, but he's not quite the public figure to deal with JABA that Auburn needs. A lot of his hires have been solid, but there is also administrative stuff that has been mentioned here that is a big knock on him. I wonder if Auburn will go internal, but if they go external, I would like someone who has either worked for Auburn or the SEC and understands what is needed administratively and PR-wise to run the athletics department.

It depends on the quality of looks. A lot of our looks are off the dribble and off a screen and kick out. Not necessarily optimal in getting good looks.

We lost for 2 reasons tonight. 1. Free Throw shooting. Walker missed 5 straight free throws in regulation and KD missed a couple as well. With how we closed, we could've iced the game in regulation. 2. Offensive execution down the stretch. We were up 5 with a minute and a half left. We took a couple of bad shots and had a turnover from our point guard. On defense, Arkansas got foul calls and made their free throws to inch closer each time down the floor. If we get a bucket on any of those possessions late, the game is out of reach. The first point is an anomaly, as we were leading the conference in FT shooting going into the game, with Kessler north of 80%. The second point, however, has been an issue the last couple of games. Hopefully we get Zep back on Saturday, as his presence really helps us out in organizing our offense.

Arkansas struggled on offense against Mississippi State. So i expect them to shoot 80% in the first 8 minutes.

I think we go portal for PF. I wonder if Bruce will trust Cardwell and Stretch to hold down the 5 next year. We will have an old team next year, so 2023 will be key.

A lot more hero ball today than all season long. No reason why Jabari only takes 7 shots. I put some onus on Bruce and Co. to run more stuff for Jabari to let him create for himself or others. Our guards felt like they had to carry the load today and that shouldn't be the case. Our shot selection in the second half was poor and it led to GA leaking out to create 2 on 1's on offense to get easy buckets.

I think the point was that these players that returned were eligible for the NFL not that they would be drafted.

It's also worth it to point out that pictures with high school coaches are just as important for the high school as it is to the college that is visiting their prospects. It's a mutual marketing thing, so I doubt it would be in Pat's best interest to be salty toward Auburn.

We couldn't drop it in the ocean for long stretches tonight. The offense looked hurried at times, and Mizzou hit some shots late in the clock. A normal Auburn perfomance would've gotten us a 25 point win. A good growing experience for us learning to play with the hype and expectation of being #1.

It's a winter sport for a reason. In non-conference, those game fill up the schedule during the week and the overlap creates interest.

I don't know about you, but outside of McCreary, I wasn't thrilled with our secondary this year.

As many of you know, Auburn Twitter is known for blasting memes at opponents after wins. Earlier in the season, after Auburn defeated Murray State, the same thing happened. However, Murray State deleted the final score post and never reposted it. Since then, a few people have been putting memes on Murray State's posts. Randomly last night, Murray State's best player posted a screenshot of the final score from our game with them. In return, the Twitter fanbase will not blast Murray State, but instead align with them in posting memes on other OVC teams final score tweets. A familiar name also appeared And here is the final result from tonight's Murray State win over Tennessee State.

You don't see guys like this in college too often these days. Talent like his goes overseas or to a bigger school. Hell, he could've gone to his father's alma mater. The guy loves being a college player and the experience, and hopefully stories like his will help not just Auburn, but other schools get elite players to come play college ball instead of going to the G-League and playing in front of crowds of 200 people.

Ole Miss scored 51 against A&M and lost by 16. This isn't the same offensive Ole Miss team of years past and Bruce will have the guys ready to go.
