Cholesterol Meds

just got back from my physical and the doc wants to put me on cholesterol meds.

my numbers weren't bad, but he wants to be proactive... *sigh*

HDL 46

LDL 139

total 185 (for the mathematically challenged).

anyone else familiar w/ this cholesterol stuff?

some low dosage generic brand...starts w an "M"...i'll have to look.

it's proactive, given my family's history. for some reason, i'm bummed out about it...even though people say it isn't a big deal.
