Barring injury this team should become a pretty good team. These 1 run games will soon turn to 3 & 4 run wins as the timely hits begin to fall in.

I don't know who lsu throws tomorrow but i like our chances with the young phenom on the mound.

Missed the last four innings...thanks for pulling them through in my absence Belle, et al.

Gutwrenching games for the fans....but think what Pawlowski is feeling when he watches all those instances where team can't get hits with RISP.

:dunno:

Keep this up we might get ranked

I'm not sure why they shouldn't be ranked now.  They've won two series against two top 12 teams and pretty much taken care of business against other unranked teams.  Losing the series to Arizona 1-2 and Missouri 1-2 shouldn't hurt them too much especially because it was at Arizona and early in the season.

I hate the Bham News.   Today's headline was about a bama loss instead of an AU win.  War Eagle.

That's fine by me.  Lets keep this team a secret as long as we can.

WAR DAMN BASEBALL!

This team has championship caliber pitching

:wareagle:

And far from championship-caliber hitting and defense. It certainly looks like Pawlowski has upgraded the pitching this year, but we're a long way from talking about championships or much less finishing in the upper half of the SEC. We've got to quit stranding tons of runners, and we've got to play better defense.

But the guys deserve credit for gutting out these last two wins. Heck of a job. It's a long season, but 4-1 is a dang good start! Let's get the sweep tomorrow.

Defense is getting there.  We had some game saving double plays today in 9th and 10th. HUGE.  Do need to cut down on errors.
