kickemintheB3 5
To their college football home page and saw Chizik's picture on the front page...here's the article: http://espn.go.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/52480/future-not-the-past-will-decide-chiziks-fate Interesting read, for what it's worth. aubietiger14 147
"The problem is that a lot of those players who helped Auburn attain those lofty rankings are either no longer in the program or haven’t panned out to this point. To name a few: Michael Dyer, Trovon Reed, DeAngelo Benton, Shaun Kitchens, Antonio Goodwin, LaDarius Owens and Eric Mack." Show's you what Chris Low knows... Benton, Reed, Owens and maybe Mack are all still on the team.

jvilletiger 0
If Low honestly thinks Dye would be "in the know" about Chizik's job security, he's been getting all his info from finescum.

DivisionN 102
Can we please stop hiring paranoid, obsessive compulsive defensive coordinators who think they can coach the offense better than the OC? We traded one Tuberville for another in Chizik. Chizik recruits better, but doesn't develop those players as good as Tubs. Both think they understand offense. I saw Chizik's comments today about improving the offense. He wants to work on the "running game". Hey, we are running it fairly well for a team with NO passing game whatsoever. If we could throw at all the run game would open up. The best we looked against Arky was at the end of the game and we HAD to throw on every down. Now, true Clint forced two interceptions, but in between we saw some good throws and good catches and some ray of hope. According to Chizik we have devoted the majority of practice time on the run game all year. It shows! Get out there and run those passing plays over and over until the timing is right. Dang! Frazier said the other day that he hadn't thrown to Trovon Reid since the spring. That makes no sense. Anyone who has coached football knows that you must work on timing over and over. Our receivers are doing great for kids who evidently do not get to catch the ball in practice.
Raven_tiger 5
"But it’s also the same Gene Chizik that just lost to a reeling Arkansas team last week at home and has now lost six of his last seven SEC games dating back to last season. Those six defeats were by an average margin of 23 points." Wow
