I finally got an ethernet cable in the room, so I can update the happenings.

On new years eve there were a LOT more tech folks than Auburn people. The ratio was probably 10:1 or worse. Yesterday, the # of Auburn people was better, and from what I saw this morning, it's even better today. Hopefully, by monday, it'll be fairly even.

My daughter and her friends were not going to get to NOLA until this afternoon. I'm sure Auburn will have a strong presence. Cheer loudly and have loads of fun! TigerDad and I wish we were there too! We are just paying for the Princess to go! War Eagle!

I agree with bammanmr about the amount of Virginia Tech fans here. On saturday night I think is was at least 10:1 and today at the Auburn Pep Rally the VT fans were in force chanting "Lets Go Hokies" trying to upset our pep ralley. Some Auburn fans were going to stay and return the favor but I prefer to let our team rain on the Hokies parade.
