Auburn trailing 60-55 with 49.9 seconds to play.   Timeout Auburn and that will advance the ball to the hash mark in the Auburn front court.   Auburn with one timeout remaining.

Montgomery and McKay have struggled today to score. Each are 3-10 from the floor    Frerking leads all scores with 30 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.   It just wasn't enough down the stretch.    8.4 seconds to play.

Frerking lays it in and its 66-61.      FINAL Auburn falls on the road 66-61.  Frerking finishes with 32 points.  Needed a little more help from Montgomery and McKay.

I don't understand harassing them all over the place for three quarters, using the bench a bunch to help with fatigue, then falling back into a zone and letting the game slow down the last over the last 6 minutes. That's when the pressure should be turned up even more! A&M doesn't have much bench at all. I understand fouls were mounting up on us, but we do have the depth to withstand a few fouling out.

In any case, we blew too many layups and other easy shots. At one point with a few minutes left, they said that the rest of the team other than Ferking had hit 10 of 36 shots. That's 28%. Can't win like that.

Lets take a BC powder and come back strong!

Every team uses the press at times, some more than others.  However, if anyone can point to a team that is built to press the entire game and values that defensive intensity over offensive production that is an elite team, I would like to know who that team is.  We can be a team that stresses defense and points generated from that defensive play, but we have to recruit players that can make layups and run offensive half court sets as well. Part of running those half court sets requires size inside.  That isn't rocket science,  We have had feel good moments this year, but the truth is that the only SEC team we have beaten with a winning conference record is Tennessee. We haven't beaten a ranked team all year.  And by the way, Georgia beat Tennessee today.
