tiger88 934
Under The pink was not near as good as LE, but there are a few really good tunes on it to say the least. 1.Boys for Pele (This is a reference to sacrificing children to the volcano so no one freak out ) 2.Scarlets walk(very mellow, post motherhood) Are two of my favorites other than le. Many of her best songs are b-sides that aren't on her major albums including Upside Down and Take to the Sky. She also did a double album that had a live disc that was awesome. Say the word and I'll burn you a cd mix of some of her best stuff other than le. Aubie 16 those are awesome lyrics.

I think I may just give my copy of Under the Pink another listen and go ahead and buy a few more of her albums. I like having the liner notes. BTW, I looked on her website for info and saw that she is scheduled to appear on Letterman on Feb. 17th. Seems she has an album -- Beekeeper -- coming out on Feb. 22nd. CCTAU 3,362
They took all the footage off my T.V. Said it's too disturbing for you and me It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say If it was up to me I'd show it everyday Some say this country's just out looking for a fight After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right Have you forgotten how it felt that day? To see your homeland under fire And her people blown away Have you forgotten when those towers fell? We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden Have you forgotten? -Darryl Worley

AUJarhead 70
Woke up just the other day Fell out of bed and my dog ran away. The car won't start and the weather was cold and gray. I got stuck in a traffic jam, My major meeting didn't go as I planned. Looks like it's gonna be another one of those days. I got a roof over my head, Someone to love me in a four poster bed, And I can play this here guitar I thank my lucky stars. - Lucky Stars by Jimmy Buffett. SLAG-91 1,498
Out on the road today I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back, you can never look back." SLAG-91 1,498
88, I loved Dirty Laundry as a teenager...I remember in our English class, we did a thesaurus activity using five songs of our choosing. I came up with "Murky Jockstrap" as an alternate title for that one. Turd Ferguson 38
I was driving down the freeway with a rabid wolvering in my underwear, When suddenly a guy jumped up behind me and he put his hands across my eyes, I guessed is that Uncle Louie, could it be Ed or Bernie or Steve, I probably could have kept on guessing, but about that time a smashed into a wall, And as I'm laying bleeding there on the asphalt, finally I see the face of my hibachi dealer, who takes of his prosthetic limbs and tells me, " Everything you know is wrong" -Verse 1 of "Everything You Know is Wrong" by Weird Al from the BAD HAIR DAY album.
