I saw that in the paper this morning. This is almost too good to be true. This has the potential to be one of the great healthcare breakthroughs since the polio vaccine.

I can only think that either the insurance companies, the government or some human rights group will oppose this drug.

If this is really true, you can depend on actuarial studies by insurance companies to determine if their liability is greater/less if the person lives a shorter/longer time. Then they will decide if they will pay for the treatment or not.

Now there is a true statement if ever there were one!

But it would seem to me that the cost of the medicine couldn't be higher than heat surgery and all the cost afterwards. This could save the insurance companies billions of $$$$ & keep people alive to continue paying premeiums.
