He looks defiant and determined. I hear that T-shirts, coffee mugs, bumper stickers and beer koozies are already being being sold with this image on them and many millions of $ are expected to be raised for the Trump campaign by selling these items.

Don't the Democrats realize what they are doing? Every time another one of these politically motivated charges hits the headlines, more and more people flock to the Trump side, firm in their resolve. If you Dems don't knock it off we'll have him in the election again and he'll beat Bungling Biden handily.

He has his “you’re fired” face on.  It’s a practiced canned look.

However, I completely agree with your warning that the more he his ridiculed, the more it causes a reaction from his supporters and potentially even… sympathy from others. It’s been said a million times the best way beat trump is to ignore, not belittle him. But our culture struggles with that and the media is addicted to the pro or con ratings that he drives.

My favorite is all the Conservatives pushing tough on crime, then when one of their leaders is convicted they have to ask who would pardon him during their debate, and everyone on the stage raises their hand.

It’s a very fair point, especially after “lock her up”,  but realistically I struggle with actually incarcerating a former president. I get that no one is above the law and action -> consequences, but wow. It’d be a major distraction /side show for country  and media for years. Plus further elevating the partisan pay back culture to a whole new level and might further increase maga cult. Personally a plea bargain agreement not to seek public office would be a far better resolution than jail or a pardon.

I thought about house arrest, but He would never agree to not stirring the pot and claiming his innocence.

Per the mjt thread, there’s a world of extreme whacky people who are highly engaged and see trump as a Christ figure.  That can’t be fixed for now. I’m just hoping he loses by 50 pts so no one questions outcome, or he accepts a quiet way out of conviction. Because if theres 10 possible outcomes to the situation in the next year or two, more than 5 of them are not great.

I’ve concluded we’ve got to stop trying to figure out how to placate highly irrational people. It can’t be done. Stick to basic rules. If convicted in a court of law, apply the rule of law. Let him appeal, squeal and deal. Those who see him as a cult figure won’t be dissuaded by anything others do. They are not rational nor reachable.

Very crisp math. I would add a few more variables but we’ll see where this goes

This you, Mikey?

Are you really that dense? I don't like Trump, I don't want him to be the Republican nominee. I have said that here several times.  However, if it turns out to be another Trump vs. Biden deal I'll vote for Trump and wish I could vote more than once. Yes, Biden really is that bad.

The last time I looked that wuss in the eye, he tried that, and then soiled his diaper when I stepped in closer.  Got me escorted from Trump Tower.

But the smell was undeniable.

No, but when you decide to screw over forty people after consuming everything served, then I will get back in your face.

You would have asked for his autograph.

I just wanted my people to be paid. Which, to this day, they have not been. Neither have I.

Says a great deal about you.

This says two things about you.

1) You make assumptions about people when you know nothing about them.

2) You expect people to be mind readers, which the vast majority are not.

And a tip: There are lawyers everywhere begging for clients. If you weren't paid for some service you performed, hire one and file a lawsuit. It's the in-thing to do.

I was a Trumper when he was running against Killary. I was a Trumper when, as president, he squashed so many of the liberal's policies. I was a Trumper when he ran against Biden. I don't care for Trump the man, but when he's compared to the alternatives the Democrats put forward, he looks great.

What you who are afflicted with TDD cannot seem to grasp, there are a lot of people who will not vote for Trump in the primary, but if it comes back down to Trump vs. Bungling Biden, for the good of this nation we will vote for Trump.

Trust me Precious, You have enough of a rap sheet that lets people get a good grip on you.

I don't expect much of people, because they let you down.  Then there are fellas like you that need to be opposed in every facet of life.

I wouldn't call you a Trumper, Precious.  I'd call you a Nazi.

And believe me, moron.  The company did. And that Adolf wanna be, your hero, still hasn't paid till this day.
