I even saw where Arkansas baseball Twitter took a dig at us. I reminded them that, despite the loss, we still did a lot better than their Brokebacks did this year.

We made history in their own arena. They also have no room to talk.

Exactly! Teams like Ole Miss and Arkansas didn't even make the tournament and got blown out by us every time talking crap. And as far as Arkansas baseball, they are the kings of getting a high ranking, then sh---ing the bed, getting upset and losing out early.

Lane Kiffin is a petty, sloppy bitch. Ole Miss was dog ass this year who we swept and didn’t even make the tournament and declined the NIT invitation (which was also petty). Oh and Chris Beard is a woman beater.

I detest them. Kiffin is a spoiled brat who has gotten everything he wants in life because of who his daddy is. Fits Ole Miss to a T. And you are right, Beard is just a sorry human being. I live in Mississippi, and avoid that cesspool Oxford like the plague.

Suicide hotline probably has a lot of Auburn callers on hold right now...because Pearl is taking so long.

Yeah, it ruined my night last and my plans for a gametime BBQ get-together tomorrow.

But I handled it a lot better than 4th-and-31.  I was looking for the phone number that day.

The more I think about it the more disappointed I am with the team, especially our guards. I might make a thread and point out things too look at from a basketball players eyes that show Yales best guy knew he was better than our guys..... The step back he hit to go up 73-72 I think..... The fact he even took that shot shows he had no fear or respect for our guys.

We went down and didn't even get a shot off because we were scared, their next possession, he literally waved the pick off.....I can't put into words how disrespect that is to our guys playing defense..... We gave Yales guy so much confidence he literally thought he was Kobe Bryant.

For him to even reach that level of confidence is so demoralizing to be honest. We lost the game when we lost that halftime lead. But the way they froze up, the way they missed the free throws..... They didn't believe themselves they were better

Like I saw where somebody posted yesterday, "Auburn let a bunch of future lawyers, Wall Street brokers, and accountants beat them". And they were right.

Well I think that is dumb, there are kids from the hood that will be engineers and lawyers, myself and my brother-in-law.

There are privileged kids that become drunks, I know a guy from Florence and he dropped out at Auburn.

We had an advantage in the front court, there was nothing about our guards that gave us an advantage over theirs. I'm trying to get you guys to understand that.

Our guards didn't have abnormal size, they don't have abnormal skill, they don't have abnormal physical attributes.... They weren't even ranked super high( not like that matters but for those who think it does) the only people who thought we should easily out play their guards are Auburn fan base.

Their guy would have started for us on the wing. And we would be a better team if he had

Auburn fans would do the same thing if they did what we did. Auburn deserves whatever grief that comes our way.

I think the point they were trying to make is that for virtually all the Yale players, their careers will be over once they play their final college game. And while we may not have any real major NBA prospects, several of our guys will play beyond college. They were basically saying that we let a less talented team beat us.

It is also great that you and your brother-in-law have overcome obstacles to achieve great things in life! So many people don't believe in themselves, and settle for mediocrity. You guys obviously aren't those type of people!

I'd really be surprised if any of our guards played over seas. Maybe Tre. Maybe. I think he should actually try to get to the NFL though if I'm being honest.

I think Yale's backcourt is just as good as ours, if not better. I think Tre is about on par. I don't know if he would start for them or not but I know that one guy would have started for us.

We were supposed to beat them the way we beat bammer, dominate them on the boards and down low

I won’t be mad if Tennessee were to make a deep run but with that said  I won’t actively pull for another SEC team

just as long as bama doesn’t get past the 16 … Sears can flat out play but Oats is a complete d-bag … hopefully they get beat tomorrow or by NC

would love for a Cinderella to win it all (maybe Cinderella Pt. 2 with N.C. St.)

I know a lot of you folks blame the PG play & I won’t completely disagree BUT what this program needs is a couple of knock down shooters … could be a PG, SG or a SF but we desperately need a three point specialist

I agree. Not really pulling for Tennessee, but I could at least tolerate them winning it. On the other hand, bammer would be a different story. I do believe UConn is the best team by a wide margin, and expect them to win it.

Tennessee player who shoots 60% from the line knocks down both to secure the win. And our players who shoot 90% and 80% choke.

Bama plays Grand Canyon tomorrow in which they will probably win . It’s such that they dont play defense but Sears is a floor general that gets call. Them and UNC is they meet will be interesting. Bama threes start falling watch up. Also them playing Purdue, Arizona and Oregon earlier in the year might pay off because the moment won’t be to be for them. Oats is still a piece of u know what

I was really pulling for Oakland, but wasn't too mad they lost to NC State. One Cinderella to another.

Auburn has been in need of a point guard,  and a deadeye two guard ever since Harper, and Bryce Brown graduated. Today's basketball needs a dynamic point man who can penetrate the defense, and either score on his own, or distribute the ball to the other weapons. Mark Sears is an excellent example. The guy is literally  the engine that makes Alabama go.

We are now unfortunately in need of an almost complete overhaul. Since Broome,  and Jaylin will be gone we have got to have at least two bigs who can be major contributors right away. I'm fairly  high on Chaney Johnson, but not sure he's the guy who can legitimately get us 15-20 points a game inside. We could also use another small forward who can score off the dribble. We have CBM, but who knows how his future is going to play out at this point.

Unfortunately, the moment was too big for them. I honestly don’t know why we played to their strengths, which was a slower pace. Not running any offensive sets. Tre would literally just dribble the ball and not do anything. Just bad offense where, in a game like that, every possession counts. Should have just fed Broome all damn game. He could have easily put a 30 piece on them.

Auburn isn’t great at anything anymore, other than Equestrian and it’s getting old. It’s a very humbling experience to realize that as far as athletics goes, UofA is the far superior school.

A lot of that has to do with the hiring process and some good ole boy system politics. For all the analytics we seem to utilize, it hasn’t helped.

Basketball is the only major sport we are any good at, and we s---- the bed vs a weak team just days after rolling through the SEC tournament. I'm still pissed. And will get even more pissed every round that bama advances.

kicking CBM out of the game in the first 3 min is the real reason!

We should not lose to Yale because of  one player.   A top team sure, but an Ivy?  All I heard all year was about our depth advantage. We should have overwhelmed and rattled them into several big runs. Instead they hung around until we melted.
