Well, Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) had the guts to put an amendment out that would have tabled that porky boondoggle. It went down 82 to 15. Here are the 15 Senators who voted for responsibility in spending. Allard ® Allen ® Bayh (D) Burr ® Coburn ® Conrad (D) DeMint ® DeWine ® Feingold (D) Graham ® Kyl ® Landrieu (D) Sessions ® Sununu ® Vitter ® Note that four of them, including the one who proposed the amendment in the first place were elected just last year, and so have not yet been corrupted by special interests.
