After each IB TD that Ben scored, he flashed a quick sign that I have seen other players at other schools do: he puts his hands up near his head and turns the palms out/forward. What is that?

I recall seeing a demo tape of such a sign when the "celebration" rule was instituted, along with "no helments off", etc. The narrator said such a sign had nothing to do with football and was inappropriate (along with a lot of other stuff).

Just wondered what it is and what it means, if anything.

I support him signing whatever he wants to and can get away with, unless it's in poor taste.

its the sign for "Omega"

some black athletes are members of the fraternity Omega Psi Phi . .

you'll see pro athletes do it alot also . .

I believe that was an Omega Psi Phi sign that he flashed. Didn't know he was a member and I might be wrong, but that was very similiar to that fraternity's sign.

Yes its definitely the sign for Omega Psi Phi. Many athletes do that. Michael Jordan and Shaq to name a few. Steve Mcnair did it every time he threw a touchdown yesterday.
