Donutboy 0
Florida has already adopted a similar plan!! Florida has adopted a plan to let seniors skip their senior year by graduating with 18 credit hours instead of 24. rexbo 104
We should change our education model to the one used in Switzerland (and the rest of Europe too I believe). Kids finish "high school" around age 16, and then go to either technical prep type schools for University, or to trade type schools where they work and take classes at the same time. Kids are not dropped out of the education system with only rudimentary reading and writing, every one is taught some skill towards a real job. Even people working at McDonalds have to go to school for that first!! Can you imagine, someone behind the counter at McDonalds that really knew how to count change and do their job professionally!! The disadvantage to this is kids must make some early career choices, but it is much better than someone graduating at 18 with no clue with what they will do with their life. TrueTiger 0
I don't think we should mess with it. I loved my 12th grade year. WARR EAGLE
