This is probably old news but I am watching this movie and John Travolta is wearing an Auburn t-shirt. It was made in 2004 and unfortunately he is pathetic. Now he is wearing an Auburn baseball cap. Hopefully Scarlett Johansson will straighten him out.

The movie is "A Love Song for Bobby Long". I like Travolta too but in this movie he is not the model human being. Odds are in his favor though with the Auburn t-shirt, Auburn cap, a visit to the school, and Scarlett in his corner.

My wife and I rented it a while back when nothing else was available at Movie Gallery. We both liked it. It's a little odd, but actually pretty good.

very good movie. saw it when it came out on dvd seeing that it was in limited release. not a model character...but turns out good. the book, is even better. called "off magazine street" and was written by robert capps (could be wrong on the first name) who was a former auburn lit professor. travolta also plays a retired lit professor at auburn. grayson capps, his son, does some of the music for the film and is a very good blues singer.

I agree. It was a very good movie. I recommend it.
