TIGER BUZZ

Two things to take away from Saturday's game:

1.Never ever underestimate Auburn. Really, who would have thought Auburn would beat Florida after such a disappointing effort the week before against Arkansas? (And we mean besides Vegas, which initially made Auburn a 2-point favorite against the Gators). On a huge stage - ESPN's cross-network presentation - Tommy Tuberville showed the boys from Bristol that the Tigers can play some football after all.

2.Auburn's headed back to the Top 10. And maybe the SEC Championship Game too. Auburn cleared one of its biggest hurdles in beating Florida, and although it trails Arkansas in the SEC West, a trip to Atlanta to play for the title (in a rematch with the Gators?) remains a possibility.

Charles Goldberg -- What fans are talking about this morning:

The bigger they are... Florida teams ranked in the top two should avoid Auburn at all costs. Ditto for all other teams ranked in the Top 10. Auburn's run of victories against highly ranked opponents is one for the history books.

Tray Blackmon. The redshirt freshman learned a lesson during his six-game suspension. The SEC learned a lesson about Blackmon during his college football debut. This linebacker is a playmaker. How good will he be when he really figures out what's going on?

Tristan Davis. Auburn needs playmakers. Davis makes plays, like his 58-yard kickoff return and his punt rush that helped lead to a block returned for an Auburn touchdown. Imagine what he might do if the coaches put him on offense and handed him the ball.

Under review. Was Chris Leak's bobble an incomplete pass or a fumble? The call on the field - fumble - stood after the replay official took a look. It was the biggest call of a very big game, and it went Auburn's way. LSU fans were not surprised.

Le-Bo. The Auburn defense contained Florida's celebrated quarterback tandem of Chris Leak and Tim Tebow better than anyone. Tebow had one highlight with his TD run. The left-hander tricked the Tigers by running to the right.

What if? What if Auburn had played Arkansas at night? What if the Tigers had made a play or two against the Hogs? What if Houston Nutt weren't Tommy Tuberville's nemesis? Auburn is one off day away from a possible No. 2 ranking in today's first BCS poll. Kevin Scarbinsky --

Great job by Tuberville:

Thank goodness this was not the Auburn team that played the past three games. The second half showed a team that could win a national championship. Coach Tuberville, you did a great job! Lee Corso, please keep that gator head on!
